Our Philosophy
The curriculum of our kindergarten involves the total experiences that a child has from the time he arrives until the time he leaves. Each day brings opportunities to play, investigate, and to express ideas. Our basic philosophy includes:
Providing the child with opportunities to make appropriate choices and to express himself
Encouraging the child to do what he can for himself, to develop a positive self-concept and to accept responsibility using a positive approach and love in our guidance while setting consistent boundaries
Seeking to build the child's faith by developing an awareness of God and His love for us through teaching and example
Providing an educational environment where each child is encouraged to actively participate in the learning process
Entrance Requirements
Children must be 3, 4, or 5 years of age on or before September 1st
Any child enrolling in kindergarten must be totally potty trained
Enrollment will be limited due to class size limits
The School Year
Kindergarten will be in session nine months.
Holidays, opening and closing dates, weather related closings, etc., will be the same as those for the Cobb County Public schools.

The hours of each kindergarten session are 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.

5 Yr /$170 registration/$170 monthly tuition

3 yr/2 day $135 registration/$135 monthly tuition
Typical Day
Opening:
During the arrival period, children browse through books, work with manipulatives and work or play in different centers.
Large Group Time:
The teacher will discuss daily activities, the weather, calendar, and other large group activities.
Small Group Time:
The group may be divided into small groups for various activities such as learning centers, art, and individual work.
Activity Time:
Weather permitting, outdoor play is scheduled each day. When weather does not permit, this is the time when the children may choose the activity of their choice in the classroom.
Music:
Each classroom will have a time of music and music related activity each day. This includes singing and movement. Once each week, each class will have music with our music teacher.
Transportation is NOT provided for Kindergarten.
